Hi, my name is Jo Sadler and I was a gardener and now sculptor of willow! I have just opened my new shop unit at Broadwindsor craft Centre,Dorset called FORGED n WILLOW. I accidently discovered the willow world when visiting the Willow and Wetlands Centre in Stoke St Gregory on a family trip.

I was passing the offices when a cheerful hubbub drew me to an open doorway to reveal a life changing moment! A willow deer workshop run by Sarah Le Breton was taking place and i just had to get on a course.

These courses are like gold dust, so i had to wait, and managed to get in on a cancellation in September where I met Sarah and started my journey in willow/sculpture! We weaved deer, a white hare and peacock!

I am hooked! I weave sculpture all around my day job and hope to expand my business. I make many pieces for all sorts of folk. I love making hares, geese and deer, but any thing can be made really,so i enjoy new projects and one off pieces like owls, fairies and peacocks, even hedgerow baskets!

I want to create pieces that can be hired for events too, table pieces for special occasions, weddings/handfastenings etc

Barrington Court are displaying some Rememberance Poppies for their 'Battle's Over Beacon event on 11th Nov, and later Christmas 2018 where I shall have a few sculptures around the grounds-!!! Workshops on a regular basis at Broadwindsor Craft Centre, Dorset.
